How many lights are in the show? - Approx. 4,787 for 2024!

How long does it take to program a song? - Over the years I have probably invested 15+ hours per song.

What software do you use? - xLights

What controllers do you use? - HolidayCoro AlphaPix w/ many expansions for WS2811 and Renard for traditional AC

What type of lights are these? - WS2811 12v LED's. Traditional LED Christmas lights in the large Elm tree. 

Do you see your electricity bill go up? - No not really, surprisingly. Everything is LED and it only uses about 1400 watts at peak brightness during songs. (same as a typical hair dryer)

Lights out of sync with your car? - This is common with some newer cars, especially EV's.  The cause is an analog to digital converstion delay.  For these cars we recommend buying a small portable FM radio like this one:  AMAZON LINK.  It will come in handy for drive in theaters and other christmas light shows!
